My name is Evalina Upshaw and I am a 3rd grade teacher at San Carlos Unified School District. I am a tribal member of San Carlos Apache tribe, grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and now reside in Globe, Arizona.

I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Education from Arizona State University and received my Masters of Education Curriculum Instruction and Reading from Grand Canyon University.

My hobbies when I am not working are reading a good book, quilting and watching movies.
