Dear Rice Elementary Families Updated Dismissal Times Beginning today August 7 2025 We will follow a new dismissal schedule to support smoother transportation across all campuses. Primary students K through 2nd grade will be dismissed at 1:30 PM with parent pickup and walkers dismissed at 1:25 PM. Intermediate students 3rd through 5th grade will be dismissed at 2:30 PM with parent pickup and walkers dismissed at 2:30 PM. All bus runs will follow this updated schedule. Lil' Miss Rice Pageant
Congratulations to our newly crowned Lil' Miss Rice Kayloni June Kenton! 1st Attendant - Waylynn Bullis, Miss Congeniality - Waylynn Bullis. We had amazing performances and a great turnout! Thank you to all our participants, parents, volunteers and staff!
Fire Prevention Presentation
Tricia Logan, our Cultural Success Coach, brought in Wilfred Steele and Smokey the Bear to meet with out students about the importance of fire prevention. They're pictured here with Ms. Chae's Kindergarten class.
Class Project
In Mrs. Bernabe's class, students created "Mini Pots" for their gardening art project. Great job students! Thank you Mrs. Bernabe for the great art project!
