Bus Changes
Please make Bus Changes at least 1 hour before dismissal.
No Checkouts after 2:15pm and 12:15pm.
Please wait for students to release at their dismissal times.

AASA Highly Proficient Students!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Pictured are the 4th and 5th grade students from Rice Intermediate who scored HIGHLY PROFICIENT on their Math and Reading Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment (AASA). The AASA is a statewide achievement test for all students grades 3-8. Each student received a certificate and gift cards to Walmart!
Spelling Bee
1st place - Ethan Nob 2nd place - Aurelia Stevens 3rd place - Aniyah Wilson Everyone that participated did a great job! Ethan will be going on to the Gila County Spelling Bee that will take place next month on February 2nd.

Perfect Attendance Pizza Party!
Ms. Jackson's 5th gr. class received a pizza party after completing 7 days of Perfect Attendance! Each class needs to spell out the word PERFECT so they can receive a pizza party. Please send your kids to school everyday!

Apache Culture Week!
The SCMS and SCHS Drum Group were invited to perform throughout the week. Our students love to dance!
Gift Card Incentive
Our students receive gift cards from Subway, Pizza Hut and Walmart when they complete their objectives in intervention.
Calming Room
To help alleviate stress, anxiety and historical trauma, RIS has created a calming room for our students. The calming room was designed to regulate our students' emotions and to reduce negative thoughts that have affected their academic performance and social skills.
