GANIMAT ROOJAM

Greetings! My name is Ganimat Roojam and I'm thrilled to say this is my 13th year teaching.  I grew up in Chandigarh, India and graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Teaching from Punjabi University in 2006, a master’s degree in English from Punjabi University in 2009 and an MBA in Human Resources in 2013 (I am also a certified chef). 

I began my teaching career at St. Stephen’s School in Chandigarh in 2007, and then moved to Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh.  I started teaching at San Carlos High School in November, 2019. This year I will be teaching Dual Credit ELA to the Seniors and ELA 11, along with creating a cooperative community in the classroom and modeling for students the importance of mutual respect and cooperation among all community members. 

I live in Globe with my husband, Vikrant, and two boys, Aaryan and Viren.  I enjoy exercising, cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
