My name is Suzanna Sam, and I am a proud member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. I’ve served in the San Carlos Unified School District for over 17 years, and I’m honored to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Rice Elementary. I’m passionate about helping students grow academically while building their cultural pride, confidence, and sense of belonging. My goal is to create a safe, supportive classroom where every child feels valued and capable of success. Teaching in my home community is more than a job — it is a lifelong commitment to our future leaders.
