Marsha Goseyun is a kindergarten teacher at Rice Primary School. Mrs. Goseyun was recognized as a nominee for the 2019 Teacher of the Year Award for Gila County. Mrs. Goseyun was one of several staff members who received special recognition for excellent service to the community by the school district for the 2021-2022 school year.

Mrs. Goseyun has served in several capacities over several years working at Rice Primary School: lead teacher, child study team member, and the CNA team.

Mrs. Goseyun has worked for the San Carlos Unified School District for 21 years, in different roles including: teacher’s aide, librarian aide, special education aide, mentor, librarian, Apache Language teacher, and currently, Kindergarten immersion teacher.

Mrs. Goseyun received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Mrs. Goseyun received a Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Glendale, Arizona.

Mrs. Goseyun’s long-term interests include obtaining a doctorate’s degree from Grand Canyon University; to continue student instruction or placement in a higher position within the school district; and, to attain a professorship position at the college level instructing future teachers entering the educational field.
