BRAVE Athletic Coaches,

I’m reaching out to clarify the email you received from Donna Antonio, Athletic Director, regarding current coaching roles and student-athletes.

If you are currently coaching an athletic activity, please know that you may continue in your role, as your coaching contracts remain active to the end of the school year. Additionally, our student-athletes continue to be insured and covered under liability through the end of the school year.

We appreciate all of our coaches who dedicate their time and energy to teaching and mentoring our student-athletes. Please know that you are valued, your time is valued, and San Carlos Unified School District appreciates the work you do to help our students grow and get better—both in athletics and in life.

I encourage you to continue working with our athletes through the remainder of this school year. 

Please note that the athletic positions currently posted on the district website are for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. If you are interested in coaching next year, like in any other new year, it requires submitting a new application along with required documents.
