Dear San Carlos Unified School District Families,

Thank you for your continued flexibility and support as we celebrate an exciting moment for our district and make necessary schedule adjustments.

First, congratulations to Coach Alvin Antonio, Coach Roberta Swift, and our Lady Braves Varsity Basketball Team on their outstanding home victory this past Saturday. Our community could not be more proud!

⚠️ Important Schedule Changes — Please Read Carefully

We want to clearly emphasize an important change to our originally planned schedule:

• Wednesday was originally scheduled as a NO-STUDENT day for Professional Development.
• This plan has changed.

✅ UPDATED SCHEDULE

• Wednesday will now be a SCHOOL DAY for students with EARLY RELEASE.
  • Students will be released at the same early-release time as this past Friday.
  • Staff Professional Development will continue from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
• Thursday will be a NO-SCHOOL day for BOTH students AND staff.

This change is necessary due to the closure of Highway 60 between Superior and Globe from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, which makes travel longer than usual.
