Free summer meals are available for children in the SCUSD community! ☀️
SCUSD is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide free breakfast and lunch for any child 18 years old or younger. Children do not need to be SCUSD students to participate.
Meals will be served Monday through Thursday, June 1 through July 2, 2026, at San Carlos Middle School, San Carlos High School and Rice Primary Cafeteria.
Breakfast: 7:30–9:30 AM
Lunch: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Curbside pickup meals will also be available from 9:00–11:30 AM on June 5, 12, 26 and July 10, 17.

It’s time to get creative! Students in grades K–5 are invited to take part in the 6th Annual SCAT Apache Independence Day Poetry Contest!
Kindergarten and 1st grade students may submit a drawing, while students in grades 2–5 may submit a poem. Entries are due June 16 by 4:30 p.m.
